SABAH TRIP INTERNATIONALIZATION TRIP 2011
Springfield Secondary School NCC (Land) Boys and NPCC (Sea) units had collaboratively organized Sabah Internationalization Trip which was held for four days and three nights (22 Nov 2011 to 25 Nov 2011)
The Objective of this trip is to…
Desired Learning outcome(s):
1. Cadets will be able to experience adventure and team-building spirit among cadets which will cascade into learning values like responsibility, civic minded and graciousness among each other. Cadets should be more resilient and diligent when they completed the adventure course.
2. Cadets will be learning different cultures and lifestyles of different communities.
3. The different and remote environments in Malaysia, which is different from urban and modern living settings in Singapore, will enable the cadets to appreciate their own country, Singapore, more. Hence, they will feel a sense of belonging to Singapore.
The Objective of this trip is to…
- To expose pupils to the world and sensitize them to the place of Singapore in relation to its global context.
- To expose pupils to different cultures and communities that are living in the neighboring countries.
- To expose pupils to the world and sensitize them to the place of Singapore in relation to its global context.
- To deepen pupils’ commitment and rooted ness to Singapore
- To enable the NCC (Land) and NPCC Sea and Land Units to obtain initiative points for their Best Unit Competition 2012.
